I rather liked the plot idea in the book, and the big twist that happens half way through was not something I expected.
When will be the vol.2 release?
Let me just start off with the fact that I don’t really like the whole idea of Isekai in today’s mainstream manga, anime, games etc. The reason why is because it seems like it’s slowly becoming more and more overly saturated to the point that in fact that is all you see. So when this came out I was a bit skeptical. I’m a long term final fantasy fan, along with a active Final Fantasy XIV player as well. So that alone allowed me to pick it up. And let me tell you its worth the read. The story a person going into a fantasy world has been done overdone so many times. Your useless shut in geek/otaku whatever going in and being this overpowere bad ass right off the bat really is just overly saturated so not only was I relived to see that not one but two siblings get transferred in, but the fact that they are Square Enix employees make it better. To keep it short a young employee has dreams of creating something huge for the series but gets stuck with the low end part of the job in the Divison he works in. His sister a few years younger than him also works as a active sales department employee in her Divison. Both reminisce of how they decided to work towards their goal of creating something fantastic with the series. Then out of nowhere it seems like they are transferred into the world of FFXIV. The way it’s drawn and illustrated it’s just marvelous and the some of the writing is well written but sometimes it can seem a bit on the edgy side. Regardless, the story is as originl as you’re going to get with the saturated market. They’re pretty much transferred to relieve what gives FF its flare and to almost create something new.
